57.620 € for the UN World Food Programme ...

because of your local voluntary engagement!

This is the donation-result of the global initiative, between SAP and the UN World Food Programme. Thanks to all SAP employees who registered and participated in volunteering projects around the world - the amount of money reflects their personal efforts!

The variety of projects is great, especially within the private engagement, which was shown in the registration list, where 92 employees signed in. SAP colleagues are involved in societies which care for children and their education e.g. free English or Chinese lessons, clubs which help to minimize cultural differences, organizations like the “Malteser Hilfsdienst? or environmental groups. Some others support children via a patron-project, are active in sports and leisure clubs or help animals. It is interesting to see, the different ways in which people are able to work for a good cause. Also the cooperate volunteering programs do their part to support such social aims.

The numbers of cooperate SAP volunteers are as follows:

Engaged in FIRST LEGO League:…..230 Volunteers at SAPlings:……………….540 Volunteers at SAPPORT:……………..500 Volunteering in Americas:………….4000 Walk the World:……………………………400 Registration via website:………………..92 All in all:……………………………………5762

The easy calculation:

5762 SAP volunteers x 10€ from SAP = 57.620€ for the UN WFP
